The terrorist communications network and their cooperative spirit have been tremendously improved since we began issuing Prophecy Updates in 2000. At one time there was more rivalry than cooperation between the numerous groups of terrorists that quartered from Afghanistan and Iran westward to Lebanon and Syria. And the competition between the terrorist groups inside Israel
was even more discernable. Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, Fatah, and the al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades, constantly tried to outdo one another in both the severity and number of terrorist attacks they could individually take credit for launching.

DEBKAfile: Tehran Assumes Sponsorship of Hamas Chief Khaled Meshaal

A special Iranian plane flew Palestinian Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal to Revolutionary Guards HQ at Bandar Abbas Monday, Dec. 12, after he spent 10 days in Tehran as favored guest of Iran’s clerical rulers – DEBKAfile’s counter-terror report exclusively.
There, he conferred with the RG commanders, heads of its intelligence branch and officers of the al Quds Battalions, which host the men fighting in Iraq under al Qaeda chief Abu Musab al Zarqawi for training, medical aid and rest. Meshall conferred with the RG commanders on operation collaboration between the two Palestinian groups Hamas and Jihad Islami in Gaza and the West Bank and their hook-up with Iranian networks and Hizballah in Lebanon.
Tehran is footing the bill for the boost in their terror operations.
DEBKAfile terror experts add: The Bandar Abbas conference also discussed ways and means of bolstering al Qaeda’s presence in the Gaza Strip and helping Osama bin Laden’s organization spread its wings to the West Bank alongside Meshaal’s own Hamas.

In late January and early February of 2001 the leading terrorist groups met in Beirut, Lebanon for a very important meeting. There had been communications between them previously, but this was the first full scale meeting they had held as a face to face consolidated group. Part of the discussions entailed terrorist attacks against Israel, but did include those against
the United States and o
ther pro-Israel nations.
A second meeting of the groups was held three months later in the Shiite Republic of Iran, which is the greatest financial supporter of both the Hizballah and Palestinian Islamic opposition to the tune of one hundred million per year. These meetings have produced an exchange of ideas that have, and will continue to, influence the strategies of the overall policies within the terrorist groups and Islamic nations. It has produced a better communication between the different terrorist groups, which in turn is pointing them toward a unified goal.
Prior to the two meetings these groups, to a large extent, operated in a hit and miss, splintered type of non-unified activity, directed toward varying goals.
Now, from these meetings, there is immerging a specific goal – The displacement of Israel from her high-tech economy zone, which extends from Tel Aviv to Haifa, and from her water and botanical zone from Beersheba to Dan.

I believe we are seeing events unfurl in the Middle East that could lead to a united Jihad against Israel as early as 2007 or as late as 2012. How long our troops stay in Iraq will determine when the Jihad attack is launched against Israel.
It will not be launched as long as American troops are still in Iraq.
