Revelation 12:5,6 – And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. [6] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
The man child was the seed of Abraham through the blood line of Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and David, God’s only begotten Son, Christ Jesus. He will return at his Second Advent at Armageddon to deliver Israel after her 1260 days in the Negev.
Zechariah 13:8,9 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. [9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.
This is the Land Grant He promised to Jacob (Israel) through Abraham and Isaac.
Genesis 15:18 –In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
This is when Isaac repeated the promise of Abraham’s Land Grant to Jacob (Israel) himself.
Genesis 28:2-4 – Arise, go to Padan-aram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother’s father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother’s brother. [3] And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people; [4] And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
This when God himself repeated the promise of Abraham’s Land Grant to Jacob in verses 13 and 14, as well as the promise of a Savior to all men in the person of the Seed, Jesus Christ.
Genesis 28:10-14 – And Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran.
[11] And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
[12] And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. [13] And, behold, the Lord stood above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; [14] And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
This is when Christ, the Messiah of Israel, will defeat all the enemies of Israel at Armageddon on the occasion of his Second Advent, and Israel will then charge north, west, and east out of the Negev to claim the Land Grant given to their forefather Abraham. The land will extend west to the River of Egypt, north to Hamath in Syria, east to the long Euphrates River, and south to Kadesh Barnea, as indicated in Genesis 15:17, and Ezekiel 47:17 & 19.
Micah 5:5,6 – And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. [6] And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and

Ezekiel 47:17 – And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the
border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.
Ezekiel 47:19 – And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.
Zechariah 14:8,9 – And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and
in winter shall it be.

Negev to get alternative-energy center

The socioeconomic cabinet on Monday approved a plan by the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry to establish a technology center for the research and development of renewable energy in the Negev at an investment of NIS 70 million.
“The program will enable Israel to become a major player in the global renewable-energy industry,” Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai said.
Under the terms of the program, developed in cooperation with the Finance, Environmental Protection and Infrastructures ministries, the R&D center will be set up in the Negev under the auspices of the Chief Scientist’s Office at an investment of NIS 70m. over a period of five years. The research center will focus on the development of renewable- and alternative-energy sources for the production of electricity, such as solar and wind energy.
The program is based on a research study by the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry and the Environment Protection Ministry identifying the areas within the environment-technology sector that have the potential of boosting Israeli exports.
Boaz Hirsch, director of the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry’s foreign trade administration, said Israeli exports generated from renewable-energy technology were $110 million in 2007. Under the framework of the interministerial, five-year target plan, renewable-energy exports are foreseen to grow to $1 billion a year within 10 years. In addition, R&D investment is expected to increase to $350m. during the 2008-2012 period of the program.
Separately, Yishai signed an agreement on Sunday with Ben-Gurion University of the Negev for the establishment of a national biotechnology center in Beersheba.
“The establishment of the national biotechnology center in the Negev, next to the hi-tech park operated in cooperation with the Ben-Gurion University, is a significant step in the government’s plan for the development of the Negev and in attracting investment into technology as a way of stimulating economic growth in the area,” Yishai said.
Avi Feldman, director of the ministry’s Negev development and employment center, said the center’s activities would focus on the development of innovative technologies, in cooperation with academia and other research centers in Israel and around the world. More than 75 percent of the researchers and workers of the center will be Negev residents, he said.
“Heading this project is an attempt by the ministry to create a bridge between academic research and industrial R&D, and thereby encourage an exchange of information between academia and industry,” Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry director-general Gavriel Maimon said.
