Revelation 6:12-15 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. PROPHECY UPDATE NUMBER 93

THE FINAL 1260 DAYS OF THE GENTILE AGE SERIES
A CHRONOLOGICAL OUTLINE OF THE EVENTS OF THE FINAL 1260 DAYS OF THE TRAVAIL OF ISRAEL IN THE WILDERNESS, WHICH IS CLOSED BY THE FINAL BATTLE AT ARMAGEDDON!
Event Number 2 – The Attack and Occurrences Associated With It!
As indicated in Prophecy Update Number 92, Event Number 1, we began this series with I Thessalonians 5:3, which indicated the Israeli
s would be hit
suddenly by a period of unanticipated destructive travail. Revelation 12:6 indicated the travail would cover a period of some 1260 prophetic days.
Zechariah 13:8,9 indicated that 2/3 of the Israelis would perish in the attack, but that the remaining 1/3 would be brought through the time of travail, and would turn to their God
through Messiah while going through the travail in the Negev.
I believe the opening of the Sixth Seal in Revelation will occur
in the same general time frame as the antichrist’s lightening blitzkrieg attack against Israel from the north.
Revelation 6:12 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
This is the first earthquake in the book of Revelation, and it launches the final 1260 days before the Battle of Armageddon. This is when all the tectonic plates begin to move and, by the time of the last earthquake in Revelation, their movement will have changed the microsecond locations of every mountain and island in degrees of latitude and longitude. The earthquakes, and the effects of massive volcanic eruptions, will produce much of the havoc described from the seventh seal to the last vial of the wrath of God in Revelation 16:18. The islands and mountains begin to move horizontally as the plates slip on the sixth seal and, by the end of the tribulation period, cannot be found at the same microsecond latitudes and longitudes they held at the opening of the sixth seal.
Revelation 6:12-14 – And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; [13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. [14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Revelation 16:16-21 – And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. [17] And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. [18] And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. [19] And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. [20] And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. [21] And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

When the antichrist attempts to overtake those Israelis fleeing into the Negev, his army will be rushing southward like a flood to overtake the stragglers before they reach the safety of Beersheva, where Israel’s northern defensive shield will begin. It is at this time that God will open a series of folds and faults, which run northeast to southwest north of the city of Beersheva, and this action will swallow advance elements of the forward penetration of his troops. It is the earthquake of Revelation 6:12 that will subsequently open these cracks in the earth.
Revelation 12:13-17 – And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. [16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. [17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
For the last 1260 days before Armageddon, about 1.8 to 2 million Jews will exist as the remnant of Israel in the Negev, and 144,000 of them will witness that Christ is the Messiah of Israel. By the time of Armageddon Israel, as a nation, will turn to their God through his Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Revelation 12:6 – And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Revelation 7:1-4 – And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. [2] And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, [3] Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
[4] And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Zechariah 13:8,9 – And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. [9] And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.
Micah 5:4 – And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

Israeli authorities warn hospitals to prepare for earthquake
AFP
June 30, 2008
A strong earthquake could soon rock Lebanon and parts of Israel, authorities said on Monday, urging health officials in northern Israel to make preparations for such an event.
“The probability of an earthquake of a magnitude of up to six on the Richter scale, originating in Lebanon and being felt in Israel has increased,” the health ministry said in a letter sent to medical officials in northern Israel.
Since February, abnormal seismic activity has been noted in southern Lebanon, which had suffered some 500 minor earthquakes in a three-month period, health ministry director-general Avi Yisraeli said in the letter.
“In May, the tremors have become more intense and were felt in northern Israel,” he said adding that “should an earthquake of such magnitude hit northern Israel it may cause substantial infrastructural damage in the area.”
“All medical facilities and organisations must do everything they can to enhance the level of readiness,” Yisraeli said in the letter published by the ministry on Monday.
Some seismological experts point out quakes historically have rocked the region every eight decades, and the last one was just about 81 years ago. About 300 people were killed in Jerusalem and nearby Jericho by the July 11, 1927 temblor.
A similar quake measuring seven on the Richter scale and with an epicentre in the Hula Valley, today in northern Israel, devastated the town of Safed and killed some 4,000 people in 1837.

Israel Prepares for a Major Earthquake
27 Sivan 5768, 30 June 08 09:34
by Hana Levi Julian
(IsraelNN.com) Increased seismic activity in the region has prompted the Health Ministry to advise hospitals in the north of the country to prepare for a major earthquake.
The prospect didn’t seem to faze National Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben Eliezer, who kibitzed Monday on Voice of Israel government radio’s midday news program, saying he’s “more afraid of a political earthquake” than of a major natural disaster.
Nonetheless, the issue is one that Ben Eliezer takes seriously, as do others.
The Health Ministry warning came in response to a government report that a major earthquake in the Galilee may be on the way.
Ben Eliezer noted that literally hundreds of very weak tremors have been registered in the past decades.
The minister also warned cabinet ministers a little over a week ago that the irregular seismic activity has been affecting southern Lebanon.
According to Rami Hopsteter, director of the Geophysical Institute of Israel, hundreds of tremors have hit the region since February 15, in a series of four waves that emanated from southern Lebanon.
The tremors were felt in an area some 10 to 15 kilometers west of Metulla and Kiryat Shmona
in Israel, and 20 kilometers east of Tyre, in Lebanon.
In an exclusive interview with Israel National News, Hopsteter said the pattern of the quakes was unusual, one that had never been seen before in the region.
“Had you been checking the activity in early February you would have seen that the average was one or two events per year, really low activity,” he said. “Then suddenly there was this very pronounced activity, with the strength going up and down, and this has happened four times. Such activity, the up and down activity, sometimes ends with a strong event,” he noted.
Hopsteter said the pattern is one that is sometimes seen by seismologists in New Zealand and Japan “and elsewhere, particularly in the Pacific region, where it is much more active.” But along the Dead Sea Fault, where Israel is located, the pattern has never before been recorded.
So how likely is it that Israel will get hit with a major earthquake?
“We cannot say numbers,” Hopsteter stressed. “But it is clear that the probability is now much higher. It may occur. And different organizations should do what they can to minimize damage in any event. The Health Ministry decided, look, there is this report and let’s just make sure everything is in order. That was smart.”
There is no reason to break out the alarm bells, however, he hastened to emphasize. “In any case, you have to do it, to prepare for natural disasters.
Look, there is a chance that a strong quake could occur. So do something about it and get ready.
A Whole Lot of Shakin’ Goin’ On
More than 500 tremors have been recorded by seismic registers in the region since mid-February, and among them have been a number of significant earthquakes in Israel.
Four moderate quakes shook the northern region on June 12, all originating in southern Lebanon and ranging from 3.9 to 4.2 on the Richter scale. Those were followed by another wave of more than 70 aftershocks, all within a two or three-day period, according to Hopsteter. There were also seven tremors since June 13, which were felt by residents of the Galilee.
In March 2008, an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale was felt throughout much of northern and central Israel, the strongest quake to hit the country in years. Several days prior to it, a temblor measuring 4 on the Richter scale shook the Jewish State from Kiryat Shmona to Jerusalem, also originating in Lebanon.
On July 11, 1927, an earthquake that registered 6.2 on the Richter scale caused major havoc on both sides of
the Jordan River, in the northern Dead Sea area, said Hopsteter. He explained that 285 people were killed, 985 others were wounded and thousands of buildings were damaged and destroyed. “A similar event would affect all neighboring areas,” he commented.
The bottom line, he said bluntly, was this: “If you can do something at home or in an office to prevent damage, just do it.”
