Possible Worst Food Crisis of This Century!

Charles Dickens created the famous threesome Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, but the threesome from the foursome in the Book of Revelation, namely the rider with the sword, the rider carrying famine, and the rider carrying plague, will be truly manifested by the death toll they bring on a fourth part of the earth.
During the last three and one half years of the Tribulation Period the full effects of the last three writers will be at their maximum life taking existence, as described in the following Archive Prophecy Update 145E on November 12, 2003

The Seals, the Trumpets, and the Vials
Part 5 – Affects of Three Seal Riders on Earth
Revelation 6:3-8 – And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. [4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. [5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard
the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
[6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
[7] And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. [8] And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Some seem to have the impression that these three riders pass their individual judgments on the earth, with each one departing the scene when the next one shows up, and then the last one, the pale horse rider death, departs the scene as soon as the fifth seal opens. I don’t know where the idea came from, but I am convinced that these three riders are going to be galloping until the end of the last 1260 days of the tribulation, and will be striding at their greatest pace at Armageddon. The red horse pictures bloodshed, the black horse represents famine, and
the pale horse represents death. These three phenomena will be experiencing their peak occurrences during the final great battle of Armageddon. The “them” in verse eight refers specifically to the rider on the red horse (death by weapon of war), the rider on the black horse (death by hunger), and the rider on the pale horse (death by pestilence). By the close of the tribulation period they will have killed billions across one-fourth of the earth (the known world in John’s day). The word translated as “earth” is “ges,” and it does not mean population, it means “earth.” Many do try to make this a fourth of the world’s population, but that cannot be the case, because “ges” never means population.
The final feast of wildlife on the slain bodies will reach its maximum at Armageddon.
Ezekiel 39:4 – Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
Revelation 19:17,18 – And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; [18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Isaiah 66:15,16 – For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. [16] For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.
The three riders are still going strong at Armageddon.

“Rush to Biofuels Is Driving Up Price of Food”
Paul Vallely, The Independent
QUOTE: “FOOD CRISIS IN 36 COUNTRIES”
EXCERPTS:A dramatic rise in the worldwide cost of food is provoking riots throughout the Third World where millions more of the world’s most vulnerable people are facing starvation as food shortages grow and cereal prices soar.
It threatens to become the biggest crisis of the 21st century.
Rising prices have triggered a food crisis in 36 countries, says the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
The hike in prices means the World Food Program is cutting food handout rations to some 73 million people in 78 countries. The threat of malnutrition on a massive scale is looming. .
Governments have begun to negotiate secretive barter arrangements as the price of agricultural commodities leap to record highs.
Ukraine and Libya are close to a deal on wheat. Egypt and Syria have signed a rice-for-wheat swap.
The Philippines has just failed in a rice deal with Vietnam.
All across the world, cereals, meat, eggs and dairy products are becoming dearer.
“Food prices are now rising at rates that few of us can ever have seen before in our lifetimes,” said John Powell of the World Food Program. . . .The soaring cost of oil … has another impact.
It increases the price of fertilizer, and also the costs of food processing and transport.
There is increasing concern about the rush to biofuels. .
