The ever increasing military Iranian buildup, assisted by the expertise of China, Russia, and North Korea in the fields of high tech weaponry and thermonuclear know-how, has created a Middle East situation of self preservation among the dictatorial Islamic rulers of the Middle East nations. They want to be on the winning side of a Middle East War, and are scared to death of Iran.
Consequently, efforts of being able to gain favor with Iran, while at the same time holding favor with America’s oil guzzling economic profits and military arsenal building supply system, are the order of the day.
So it is no surprise that Syria and Iran are sending out cooing love songs of the “Iranian Iron might” to the weaker Arab nations of clay, in the hope they will stick to Iran in the coming Middle East war.
Eight will stick to Iran and Syria for a brief period of time.
Daniel 2:42-44 – And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
[43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. [44] And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Syrian Officials Call on Arab Countries to Deepen Relations with Iran
Against the backdrop of President Bush’s Middle East visit and of the recent visit to Syria by Ali Larijani, representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, high-ranking Syrian government officials called on Arab countries to deepen relations and cooperation with Iran.
Such calls have been voiced by Syrian Information Minister Muhsin Bilal and Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Faisal al-Miqdad. In addition, a column published in the Syrian government daily Al-Thawra advised Arab states that Iran’s becoming a regional power was in their interests.

‘Israel wouldn’t dare attack Iran’
JPost Staff and AP, THE JERUSALEM POST
January 17, 2007
Israel would not dare attack Iran, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday.
“They don’t have the courage to attack Iran. The Iranian response would make them regret it and they know this very well,” Ahmadinejad said in an interview with Al-Jazeera.
Regarding Israel’s missile test from the Palmahim air force base earlier Thursday, Ahmadinejad said the countries in the region were not impressed by “this criminal entity that is trying to show off its weapons in a threatening way.”
Ahmadinejad went on to say that that US President George W. Bush sent a “message of confrontation” during his recent Mideast trip.
Bush spent much of his visit to the region rallying support among Arab allies for a strong stance against Iran.
“President George Bush sent a message to the Iranian people and all the nations worldwide,” said Ahmadinejad. “T his message reflects
his own conceptions and it is a message of rift, a message of sowing the seeds of division. It is a message of confrontation demeaning the dignity of mankind.”
