Practicing for the Eventual Final Battle of Land, Sea, and Air!

The current huge naval operation now being conducted in waters off Guam will be of great value in the final battle of Armageddon, which I guesstimate is likely to occur in the Middle East at some point in time between 2012 and 2016. This operation was conducted at arms length from the watchful eyes of interested future participants in the final battle, for obvious reasons, but it was practice for an anticipated action in the Middle East. The reentry of the Russian Fleet out of the Black Sea into the Mediterranean Sea, utilizing Syrian Ports as their bases of operation, which was announced last week, is the gathering and juxtaposition of the forces that will one day be involved in the final great battle of this age. The first article from DEBKAfile, which immediately follows, is in turn followed by a second article from last October that marks the initial American buildup in Middle East naval forces, when began in response to the Israel and Hizbullah War of 2006. If my guess is correct, the war that ends with the single battle of Armageddon is likely to begin at some point in time from 2008 to the end of 2012.

I apologize if speculation on the timing of end time events bothers you, but it is just that, a guess, no more and no less!

DEBKAfile’s military sources report: This will be America’s last major combined sea-air war game before during Bush presidency which ends in Jan. 2009 and last opportunity for drilling large-scale combined units should the president decide on a military operation against Iran.

To indicate that outside eyes were not desired, foreign observers who attended the Pacific exercises last year were not invited this year. US military sources in the region said that invitations to officers of regional nations to watch the drills would have had to include Malaysia, which has close ties with Iran.

According to DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s military sources, the exercises will be held in conditions resembling as closely as possible those in Iran and practice assaults of the kind that may be executed against the Islamic Republic.

When he spoke of the drills, Willard may well have been describing the realities expected to prevail in a real-life offensive against the Islamic Republic..

Valiant Shield, he said, will “include the complexities of operating three aircraft carriers in the same area while at the same time adding in the operations of another component – the fighters, bombers and tankers of the US Air Force.”

He said the exercise will not detract from the Navy’s “real world” missions in the Persian Gulf but help drill the Navy and its crews [for that real world.]

Valiant Shield’s commander’s words may have been meant to answer the sharp criticism coming from Persian Gulf governments.

The other two American carriers, Nimitz and Stennis, have gone to take part in an exercise far away in the Pacific.”

“So where does that leave us?” asked a Gulf military official. “Vice President Dick Cheney and Robert Gates promised three American air carriers to protect us plus naval, marine and air forces.

Navy Beefing Up Carrier Strike Groups in Middle East Waters!

October 25, 2006

Although Navy sources deny the New Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group addition to the other Strike Groups in the zone to be a part of the October 30,31 joint naval exercises in the Persian Gulf, which I believe to be true, it does add to the overall naval strike forces in Middle East waters.

The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group successfully completed its Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) 08 May 2006. COMPTUEX is an intermediate-level strike group training exercise. It typically represents the first time in a training cycle that a carrier strike group operates together as a cohesive team and is a critical step toward the final certification to deploy overseas. With that COMPTUEX is completed, the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group continued to train for future deployment.

More than 16,000 service members from five countries participated in Joint Task Force Exercise (JTFEX) 06-2 “Operation Bold Step,” 21-31 July 2006. Operation Bold Step present US, interagency, and coalition forces with realistic and dynamic exercise threats that closely replicate operational challenges military forces routinely encounter around the world. It was designed to provide quality, realistic, dynamic training environments to prepare US forces for joint, interagency, and combined operations, and sustained training for units that recently returned from deployment.

On 03 October 2006 Eisenhower left Naval Station Norfolk as part of a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment.
