I Corinthians 15:45 –And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the LAST Adam was made A QUICKENING SPIRIT.

Genesis 1:26a – And God said, Let US make man in OUR IMAGE, after OUR LIKENESS:

Genesis 3:15,21 –And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between THY seed and HER seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise HIS heel.

[21] Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of SKINS and clothed them.

Genesis 4:25,26 – And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me ANOTHER SEED seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. [26] And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: THEN began men TO CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD.

Begin Quote from New Defender’s Study Bible Notes

Genesis 4:26 – Enos: “Enos” means “mortal frailty.” It is interesting that Eve gave the name to her son, while Seth gave the name to his son. This probably suggests that both husband and wife normally consulted with one another in deciding on appropriate names for their children.

Genesis 4:26 – “Call upon the Name:” To “call upon the name of the LORD” normally implies a definite action of prayer and worship. It was evidently at this time that godly men and women first initiated formal public services of sacrifice, worship and prayer, replacing the earlier practice of meeting personally with God, as Cain and Abel had done. The practice of individual prayer is also intimated, implying that God’s personal presence was no longer regularly available. In any case, an act of faith is implied. In later times, “calling upon the name of the LORD” was accompanied by the building of an altar and the offering of a sacrifice (Genesis 12:8; 26:25; etc.). Since Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary, however, men need only call in faith on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).

Genesis 4:26 – “The LORD”: The name of the self-existing, redeeming Lord, Jehovah. There is no contradiction with Exodus 6:3, especially if the statement there is punctuated with a question mark: “But by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them?” The obvious answer to this rhetorical question is yes.

End Quote

Colossians 1:12-19 – Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: [13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: [14] In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: [15] Who is THE IMAGE of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of every creature: [16] For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL things were created by him, and for him: [17] And he is before ALL things, and by him ALL things consist. [18] And he is the HEAD of the BODY, the CHURCH: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in ALL things he might have the preeminence. [19] For it pleased the Father THAT IN HIM SHOULD ALL FULNESS DWELL:

Colossians 2:9,10 – For IN HIM dwelleth ALL the FULNESS of the Godhead BODILY. [10] And YE ARE complete IN HIM, which is the HEAD of ALL principality and power:

Galatians 3:16,24-29 – Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of ONE, And to THY SEED, which is Christ.  [24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us UNTO Christ, that we might be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH. [25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. [26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. [27] For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to THE PROMISE.
