I do not know the day, week, month, or year Mary gave birth to Jesus – Part 6

I do not know the day, week, month, or year Mary gave Birth to Jesus,

But I’m certain I have been eternally passed from death to life by Him

Christmas Is the Season Associated With Gifts!

God created 1st Adam to give him a living Soul!

God came as Last Adam with Quickening Spirit!

I Corinthians 15:45,46 – And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. [46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

Satan Corrupted Man’s Nature By Adam’s Disobedience

God Quickly Promised the Seed to Redeem all Believers

Genesis 3:15 – And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

I Peter 1:23 – Being born again, NOT of corruptible SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, by THE WORD of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

There is no question that the incorruptible seed of God, his eternally living word, once transplanted, abides in a believer forever, having forever removed the believer from under the condemnation of God, passing that soul from spiritual death to eternal spiritual life by the seed.  He is still a sinner, but is no longer a condemned sinner because he has been born of God by the incorruptible seed, which remains in him, and God does not impute any sin to him that would again place him under his condemnation for sin.

John 5:24 –Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, HATH everlasting life, and SHALL NOT come into condemnation; but IS PASSED from death unto life.

I John 3:9 – Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his SEED remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Romans 4:8 – Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

But the seed that eternally quickens and saves the soul, the instant it is received by the believer, immediately begins a lifelong process of conversion of that soul in order to preserve the life it will live in the flesh for the receipt of rewards at Christ’s judgment seat.

Galatians 2:20,21 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

When the events recorded in Luke 22 occurred, Peter had already been saved, baptized, called out to be a part of the first New Testament church, and had followed the Master for more than three years, but he still needed to have his eternally saved soul converted to worshipping and following God in the right way, and for the proper  reason.  Immediately after salvation, all believers are fair game for Satan.  He cannot “un-save” them, but he can attempt to swallow them whole in worldliness, and sift them in any direction to the whim of the wind as non-connected bits of willowed wheat.

Luke 22:30-34 – And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. [33] And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. [34] And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

The salvation of the soul eternally takes but an instant, but the conversion of it to a new way of thinking and a new way of life takes the rest of its life lived in the flesh.  If one will endure the anxiety and tribulation associated with the process, it will settle them in THE FAITH once delivered to the saints.

I Peter 5:8-13 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [9] Whom resist stedfast in THE FAITH, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. [10] But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Jude 3 – Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for THE FAITH which was ONCE delivered unto the saints.

The great work of the incorruptible seed in salvation is its genuine guarantee of eternal life, which is instantly given at the point of belief on Christ’s atoning work as the total, and only, price paid for it

John 10:28-30 – And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. [29] My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. [30] I and my Father are one.

The incorruptible seed also constantly attempts to keep the saved soul in fellowship with God.  The soul remains free from the condemnation of God and goes to heaven by the blood of Christ.  But “conversion” is a process that involves staying in fellowship with God.  The saved soul cannot lose its salvation, but it can, and often does, lose its fellowship with its Savior because of unconfessed sin.  This is a point made by Jesus to his first church in John 13.

John 13:3-10 – Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; [4] He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. [5] After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. [6] Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? [7] Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. [8] Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. [9] Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. [10] Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, BUT NOT ALL.

All were saved and washed by their faith that Jesus was the Messiah except Judas, who had not placed his faith in Christ to save him from the condemnation of God.  Each soul had been saved and sealed by Jesus himself, eternally cleansed from any sins that could separate it from the love of God that is in Christ.

Romans 8:38,39 – For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

However, Jesus forever established the importance of a saved soul staying in fellowship with the one who saved it by daily confessing its sins, moment by moment.  The humble, the contrite, the broken spirit, will endeavor to stay in fellowship.  The proud and unbroken spirit will refuse to be “converted” to humility, and have periods of un-confessed sins during its saved life.  Jesus taught them by his act that their humility in daily repentance toward God was needed to stay in fellowship.  That is one of the major reasons for staying in church.  Your walk as a faithful member of one of his churches allows his Spirit to cleanse the sins of your daily walk in the dust of a sinful earth

Ephesians 5:26-27 – That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, [27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

I Peter 2:5 – Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual SACRIFICES, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Psalm 51:17 – The SACRIFICES of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Humility of a saved soul maintains fellowship with God. The saved soul is rewarded in heaven for the degree of its fellowship with Christ after he saved it.

I John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Luke 18:13,14 – And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. [14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Revelation 3:20-22 – Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. [21] To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. [22] He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelation 3:20-22 is a message calling saved church member’s hearts to remain  in fellowship daily by a life of repentance and faith.  The saved heart cannot lose its salvation, but it can break its fellowship with the Lord.  Your degree of fellowship with Jesus will determine what you wear and where you live in Heaven.
