I do not have the foggiest idea what is going to eventually come out of this meeting described by THE TIMES as the Great Satan meeting with the Axis of Evil.
But I am very curious to see if anything, good or bad, does come out of it.
The good guys, Abbot and Costello, always won in their encounters with Frankenstein, the Wolfman, and Count Dracula, and I wish it could still be the same as my childhood days.
However …………………
I Corinthians 13:11 – When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
But there is still one part of me that is a little child ………………..
Luke 18:16,17 – But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
[17] Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
Matthew 18:1-6 – At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? [2] And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, [3] And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. [4] Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
[5] And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
[6] But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
You know, it’s mighty nice to be one of God’s little children, cause I don’t have to be concerned about what comes out of this U.S. – Iraq – Iran meeting. I am concerned about how many at that meeting are little children of God by faith in his Son, but about all I can do about it at age 75 is pastor Dardanelle MBC, do a Middle East Broadcast, put up these Blogs, and pray for those who preach the Gospel to them.
I would love to see them all converted as little children so I could visit with them in heaven.
I will say this – it is wonderful to know there will not be an Axis of Evil in heaven full of hate for those who don’t worship Allah.

Iran and the United States put aside their wider disputes yesterday in an attempt to agree on common ground to help the Iraqi Government to achieve an end to the daily bloodshed.
The rare show of public diplomacy lasted four hours and ended with both sides showing a willingness to meet again.
The most high-profile contact between the two countries in almost 30 years could lead to a thawing in relations — frozen since 1980 and exacerbated by American fears about Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and Iranian concerns over the potential threat of US military action.
Ryan Crocker, the new US Ambassador to Iraq, and his Iranian counterpart, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, shook hands at the start of the meeting in Baghdad, which Mr Crocker described as businesslike and positive.
“There was pretty good congruence right down the line in support of a secure, stable, democratic, federal Iraq in control of its own security, at peace with its neighbours,” Mr Crocker said after the meeting, which was hosted by Nouri al-Maliki, the Iraqi Prime Minister.
Mr Qomi said: “Generally there was positive fruit from this round of negotiations . . . [they] were an important first step between the two sides.”
At the closed-door talks in the fortified green zone, Washington laid out its concerns about Tehran’s alleged involvement in supporting militant groups that attack Iraqi and US-led forces, including the British military in the south.
Mr Crocker said that he also spoke about “the fact that a lot of the explosives and ammunition that are used by these groups are coming from Iran”.
The Iranians, whose leadership has long attacked the US as the Great Satan, rejected such accusations and raised their own fears, calling the US presence in Iraq an occupation. Tehran also criticised efforts to train the Iraqi Army and police as inadequate.
The Islamic Republic suggested creating a three-way system, comprising Iran, Iraq and the United States, to coordinate security.
Mr Crocker, however, cautioned that while all sides agreed on the principles of how to tackle Iraq’s security nightmare, what really mattered was putting words into practice.
“What we need to see is Iranian action on the ground come into harmony with their stated principles,” he said.
Ali al-Dabbagh, the Iraqi government spokesman, said: “It shows that both countries are looking at getting the problems solved.”
Both sides said Mr al-Maliki’s Government would invite them to meet again and — when that happened — they would consider the proposal.
“The timing for more talks will be announced later after more consultations,” the Iranian envoy told state television.
